We warmly welcome you to have your wedding at our church!

Many people choose us because of the warmth and beauty of our sanctuary with its historic stained glass, 700-pipe historic and well maintained organ, and woodwork that is rich and inviting.

Here are some FAQs that may aid you as you prepare:

1. Membership at United Community Church of Morrisville is not required to hold your wedding here. Out of state couples are welcome as well as in state couples.

2. We warmly welcome the LGBTQ community.

3. Our Fees:
Use of the sanctuary for your wedding is $300, payable by check to the church.
A $100 deposit is required to reserve a date. It is part of the $300 fee.

If you use our Minister for your ceremony, her fee is $150, payable by check to her. This fee includes the wedding ceremony and two or three planning sessions. Planning sessions are important so that our Minister can get to know you and so that your day will go smoothly.

If you use our Organist, his fee is $125, paid directly to him. Our church office will give you his contact information.

All fees are due one month prior to the wedding
4. You are welcome to use your own clergy. Justices of the Peace as secular officiants are not permitted.  Even if you use your own clergy, our Minister will want to meet you and speak with your Minister.

5. Decorating the sanctuary is allowable with the following guidelines:
Flowers on the altar are a beautiful way to enhance your wedding. Please DO NOT place flowers on the
piano or at the organ.
Pew clips are required if you are decorating the pews with flowers or ribbons to avoid damage to the natural and historic wood.
Unfortunately, we cannot allow the throwing of birdseed, rice, or confetti. Rice is harmful to birds. If it rains, confetti and birdseed are very difficult to clean up, and they also get tracked into the church. Please advise your guests of this policy.

6. Reserve the church for your wedding in the following way:
Contact Claudia at the church office (802-888-2225) to see if your desired date is available. She or you will need to consult first with our Minister to see her availability as well. The $100 deposit will secure your wedding date on the church calendar.
